Abstract

PROVOKE PRACTICAL APPROACH AND RESEARCH CULTURE AMONGST 1ST PROFESSIONAL YEAR OF PHARMACY STUDENTS

ABSTRACT

Background: Develop interest among students regarding practical approach by just indulging them in small research base studies is not only beneficial for them but also make them proficient enough to meet the challenges and mold themselves according to the scenario of their studies. Method: A small group project i.e. Assignment Project Study (APS) was done by the whole class of first year Pharm.D as their semester assignment and marks were given on them. The main reason to invite and bring students to different group project kind of activities in order to boost up their confidence and gather knowledge regarding different aspect related to health care profession. Conclusion: Academics nowadays need to be innovative and evidence based. It’s the requirement of the time to indulge our students in different group studies to not only make them competent for future but also to create understanding and awareness of different belongings which might be advantageous and helpful for them in their studies.
