Abstract

REVIEW ARTICLE OF PARKINSONISM

ABSTRACT

Parkinson is a second most common neurodegenerative disease in which degeneration of dopaminergic neurons will occur in substantia nigra and corpus striatum parts of brains basal ganglia leads to loss of motor control Due to degeneration of dopaminergic neurons which leads to tremors muscular rigidity bradykinesia is observed. Increased levels of acetylcholine and decreased levels of dopamine Is observed in a patient with Parkinson disease.
